Commit Everything to God. Part 1
What does it mean to Commit Everything to God?

Definition: Commit, To Pledge or do something, to make a binding declaration, to be bound, to trust.

We must Commit everything to God, what are the areas that we need to Commit to God? Commit means to Pledge to do something, commitment is not just a Contribution.

Mark Ch.12 v.30 you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.

What are the things that hinder us from committing to God?

    Matthew Ch.6 v.26-30
    26. Look at the birds of the air, they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not more value than they? 27. And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life? 28. And why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, 29. ye I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these. 30. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you – you of little faith?

Why worry about things, what does it mean to Trust in the Lord? Take all things and release them to God. God is the Creator of all things, the entire Universe, all things are His anyways, so therefore we should release all things to God anyways, including our problems and situations..

How do Others begin to impact our choices that we make each and every day in our lives and for the lives of those who are close to us. By allowing Other to impact or influence our choices and even our lifestyles we are apart of an unhealthy relationship. Others as in: Work, People, and Relationships for example.

Ask yourself: What do I want?

    Psalm Ch.139 v.23-24
    23. Search me, O Lord, and know my heart; trust me and know my thoughts. 24. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

What are the areas on my own life that I need to Commit to God?

Galatians Ch.2 v.20 and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

“I am my own Worst Enemy!”
Trust in God with all our hopes, dreams and desires and align them to God. Commit your Hopes, Dreams and Desires to God and you will know if they are also His Hopes, Dreams and Desires for you or not..

Commit Everything to God. Part 2

    Why Commit Everything to God?

2 Corinthians Ch.10 v.5 and every proud obstacle raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to obey Christ.

Choose to Trust in the Lord in all that we do, in all situations and in all circumstances. It becomes easier each time we do this. The more we Trust in the Lord God the easier to Trust in God it becomes. Trust in God all things, both the big things and especially the little things no matter now small they may seem.

Benefits of Trusting in the Lord.
As we learn more and more to Trust in God the greater our Faith increases. This causes us to have Faith and Trust in more things, situations and circumstances if we choose to Trust in God. We begin to capture thoughts and give them to God. We combat our Fears by Trusting in God.

Commit Everything to God. Part 3
How do you Commit Everything to God?

    Proverbs Ch.3 v.5-6
    5. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on our own insight. 6. In all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make straight your paths.

What do we do with the things, circumstances and situations in our lives. Easy…
    GIVE IT TO  GOD!!!
But just saying the words but still holding onto our problems will only unravel it and prevent God from solving our problems. We must, in Faith, and fully, not partially, put it all into God’s Hands. We need to learn to see it not from the way things are but from the way God sees it.

    Unchanging God
God doesn’t change and will never change, so for this we can Trust in God for His ways will stay the same for all time. As we Trust Him we will begin to see things including our circumstances and situations change for the good. Sometimes the biggest change is not in circumstances but it is in us. There will be Testings along the way, you can count in it. But through these tests you will grow and be all the better for it. And there will be distractions, to keep our focus away from God, you can count on this as well. This is an attack from Satan, but God allows these attacks to test us and for us to grow and good will always come of these attacks as long as we Trust in God. I choose to Trust in God in all things, in all circumstances, and in all situations. I choose to Trust in God!

    How to Apply the Principle.
    1. Ask the question, ”Where do I start Lord?”
i.e. Finances, Home, Mounting Bills, Car issues, Family issues, Future, Skills and Abilities.

    2. Repent, give 100%. Ask for Forgiveness from God for not Trusting in Him.

    3. Release it all to God. God cares about us and does not want to see us harmed. God knows how to fix it, give Him time, it is and can be an ongoing process.
